Description - Not far from Banksys home town of Bristol and billed as the ‘UKs Most Disappointing Visitor Attraction’. Running for five weeks between 21st August to September 17th 2015 was Banksy’s Dismaland at Western-Super-Mare. 

Auctioning a Banksy collectors Dismaland merchandise and memorabilia purchased from Banksy’s Bemusement Park. Collectable, rare and with provenance.

The ‘Dismaland’ Entrance Ticket (A4) paper size– the QR code works and gives event details.

The ‘Dismaland’ Smiley Programme of Events with Glossy Cover 34 x 29 cm – 32 pages with an introduction by ‘Banksy’. The programme provides an epilogue of the event artists. The development of the Bemusement Park concept details and other equally interesting background info including other street artists such as LUSH, pop art, surrealist, abstract and conceptual artists, including Damien Hurst, with music from the infamous Russian Pussy Riot, Sleaford Mods, Massive Attack and comedy including the now famous Kathryn Ryan. Dismaland

 It was a festival of art, amusement, comedy and music and was pretty spectacular if I say myself. A jibe at Capitalist culture and a criticism of consumerism, in particular the ‘princess and pixie dust’ fantasy world of Disney. As well as Banksy and his installation’s of the Mediterranean Boat ride, Cinderella, the Grim Reeper, the Fountain, the Mermaid, the Giant Pinwheel and Jumping Killer Whale, some detailed on the Tour Guide. There where likeminded national and international artists including other street artists such as LUSH, pop art, surrealist, abstract and conceptual artists. Including Damien Hurst, with music from the infamous Russian Pussy Riot and Sleaford Mods, Massive Attack and comedy including the now famous Kathryn Ryan. Now passing on my collection from those great days All in good to excellent condition and has been stored in a dry cupboard for a few years.
