Large Empire Style Crystal and Ormolu Eight Light Chandelier A magnificent Empire-style crystal chandelier of impressive proportions, featuring an eight-light gilt metal frame profusely adorned with faceted crystal swags, lustres and beads. The chandelier is fully dressed throughout with an abundance of sparkling crystal ornamentation, including a dramatic central basket formed from cascading crystal strands and finished with substantial faceted crystal spheres. The numerous cut crystal elements create exceptional light refraction and a truly striking appearance when illuminated. Elegant scrolling arms support eight lights with cut crystal drip pans and further crystal embellishment, while the large crystal finial below provides a superb focal point to the design. A very impressive looking chandelier, equally suited to a grand period interior or a sophisticated contemporary setting. Condition Presented in excellent condition, fully dressed and complete.
