Architectural Breakfront Display Cabinet by Drexel Heritage, USA, Late 20th Century A substantial and finely crafted fitted cabinet by American luxury maker Drexel Heritage. Of architectural breakfront form, the piece was custom-imported from California to furnish a private English residence. Constructed in hardwood with a soft limed finish and burr veneer panels, it offers both display and concealed storage in a highly versatile format. The central section, designed as a media or display unit, features a mirrored back, integrated lighting, and a pair of original doors with decorative half-moon handles. Flanking glazed vitrines with glass shelving and mirrored backs are illuminated from above. Below, three storage compartments — each with fitted shelving — are concealed behind veneered panel doors with decorative bronze roundel handles. Carved dentil moulding trims the plinth and deep cornice. An impressive and adaptable piece, ideal for use as a bar, display cabinet, or statement storage unit. The original lighting is present and functional; rewiring may be advised for long-term installation. Offered in good overall condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age and use.
