Pair of L.C.C. King’s Medals for Attendance, Conduct & Industry – 1912–13 & 1913–14, Named to L. Sumner A matching pair of early 20th-century bronze King’s Medals, awarded by the London County Council for attendance, conduct and industry during the school years 1912–13 and 1913–14, both named to L. Sumner. Each medal features a portrait of King George V, with the reverse inscribed “Awarded by the London County Council for Attendance, Conduct and Industry During the Year”, within a laurel wreath. Both medals retain their original red, white and blue ribbons, with decorative suspension bars. The 1912–13 medal has three bars including one dated; the 1913–14 medal has four bars. Both medals are edge-engraved “L. SUMNER”. Pin fittings intact. Condition: Some wear and fraying to ribbons, minor oxidation to bars, and surface wear consistent with age. A good, honest pair with named provenance.
