An ancient Roman bronze sestertius coin, likely dating to the 2nd century AD and attributed to the reign of Hadrian or a near contemporary such as Antoninus Pius. The coin features a laureate bust facing right on the obverse, though the portrait is heavily worn and legends are no longer visible. The reverse is entirely smoothed from age and handling. This piece is struck in orichalcum (a brass-like bronze alloy typical of sestertii) and has developed an aged patina. Though worn, it retains its bold size and presence, and remains a genuine artefact from the Roman Empire. Measurements: Diameter: approx. 3.1–3.2 cm Weight: 22.4 grams
