Victorian Silver Fish Knife and Fork Set, Joseph Gloster, Birmingham A good quality Victorian silver fish serving set by Joseph Gloster, hallmarked for Birmingham. The knife and fork are of large proportions, finely engraved with vine and foliate decoration, and fitted with ornate cast handles featuring scrollwork and vacant cartouches. A decorative and well-made set of good weight, housed in the original fitted leather case with blue silk and velvet interior. Knife length 28 cm. Fork 22 cm. Total weight 186.3 grams. Case measures 32 x 11 x 3 cm Condition: Light wear consistent with age. The case shows minor rubbing and wear to the silk interior.
