Edwardian Alpine Watercolour by W.L. Guest, Dated 1903 A finely composed Edwardian watercolour landscape, signed W.L. Guest and dated September 1903. The scene depicts a picturesque alpine setting with snow-covered peaks, dense pine woodland, and a mountain stream crossed by a stone bridge. Two small figures on the path lend a narrative quality to the scene. Painted with a keen eye for atmosphere and topography, the work captures the spirit of early 20th-century travel and appreciation for the grandeur of nature. Likely inspired by a visit to the Swiss or Tyrolean Alps. Presented in a later but good quality gilt frame with cream mount. Artist: W.L. Guest (active early 20th century) Date: September 1903 (signed and dated lower right) Medium: Watercolour on paper Condition: Good condition commensurate with age. The colours remain fresh. Mount with some faint spotting; frame clean with only minor wear.
