Edwardian Watercolour Landscape in Gilt Mount and Ebonised Frame Offered for sale is an attractive antique English landscape watercolour, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1905. The composition depicts a serene rural scene with a large tree standing prominently amid open fields and softly wooded countryside. Executed in watercolour on paper, the painting demonstrates a subtle and confident hand, with good tonal variation and a gentle atmospheric quality. The artwork is set behind glass within a later ebonised wooden frame, complemented by a gold leaf mount that enhances the richness of the landscape. The frame is neatly presented and fitted with hanging cord to the reverse.
