Edwardian Crescent China Tea Service by Johnson Brothers, England (24 Pieces)
An Edwardian tea service produced by Crescent China, a subsidiary of Johnson Brothers, England, dating to the early 20th century. Decorated in soft sepia floral sprays on an ivory ground, with shaded borders, scalloped edges and gilt detailing.
Comprising 24 pieces, including teacups, saucers, side plates and serving plates (see images). All pieces are stamped to the underside and all pieces shown are included.
Condition:
In good antique condition overall, with some light craquelure to the glaze and wear to the gilding, consistent with age and use. No chips observed.
