Mid-Century 9ct Gold Rhino Brooch – London 1959
A finely made mid-20th century brooch, modelled in the form of a rhinoceros.
Crafted in 9ct yellow gold, the piece is set with a polished cabochon carnelian forming the body, and a small ruby to the eye. The brooch is secured with its original pin and safety chain.
Fully hallmarked for London, 1959, with the 375 gold mark and sponsor’s mark A.D.J.
Dimensions: 2.4 cm wide x 1.4 cm high x 1 cm deep
Weight: 3.4 grams
