Elegant Neoclassical Style Demilune Cabinet A fine quality demilune side cabinet in the neoclassical taste, beautifully veneered in figured mahogany with satinwood and likely olive wood banding and marquetry decoration throughout. The bow-fronted form is fitted with a pair of cupboard doors centred by striking radiating oval panels and classical urn motifs in contrasting timbers, with delicate green line inlay adding further decorative detail. The top is particularly attractive, featuring a segmented fan design with crossbanded border, all raised on elegant square tapering legs. Internally fitted with a shaped shelf, offering useful storage while remaining elegant in proportion. A decorative and versatile piece, well suited to a hallway, drawing room, dining room, or bedroom interior. Removed from a London townhouse.
