Description : A 3 colour hand pulled screen print true to the original ‘Keep it Real’ screen print by Banksy. In colours, size, paper weight, edition run and stencil. Stamped Banksy Copy.
‘Keep It Real’ first appeared in Brighton outside a nightclub in 2002 as a row of 5 chimpanzees. Keep it Real is Banksys critique of the authoritarian manipulation of the working class, despondent and suppressed under the forces of capitalism.
It is reputed that there is some connection between Banksy and the West Country Prince.
The saleof these pieces over many years has prompted speculation that he or she is an old friend of the street artist, or even the artist himself.
Both live in the West country
This is a high quality silk screen print of the Banksy 'Keep it Real’, produced by the West Country Prince.
Unframed, editioned and stamped with Banksys Boom Box Rat logo on the reverse, 70 x 50 cm, in Red Colourway.
