ndia 1a brown postal stationery envelope (with enclosure) cancelled by Melasivapuri Pudiikottai datestamp written in native script with address translated "Bucketthaya, (via) Penang" sent instead direct to Bangkok where a superb strike of the boxed "MISSENT TO BANGKOK" was applied (deleted in red ink). On reverse, datestamps of Ponnamarava... (13 Nov) and Bangkok. The cover was underpaid and received several postage due markings including blue manuscript "Phuket 20". Very fine with clear markings.
