1.1/2d Postcard surcharged 9d for presentation to the Duke of York on his visit to the island on 23rd February 1891. Five sets of the current stamps (7 values) and postal stationery (11 items) were overprinted and presented to the Duke, one set being cancelled to order. One complete set was retained by the Duke and is in the Royal Collection while the other sets were donated to charities to be sold. A rare item of postal stationery, one of just three unused examples available to collectors. With B.P.A. Certificate (1988).
