Banksy (1974-) ‘Civilian Drone Strike’ Spray Stencil, Graffiti Art, London, December 2023.

This two piece stencil is said to be the original Banksy stencil work for painting both ‘Civilian Drone Strike’ in 2017 and to the recent street sign which was removed within hours of being sprayed at the Southampton Commercial Way, road junction in Peckham, December 2023.

Description: Banksys original concept ‘Civilian Drone Strike’ depicts three drones flying above a child’s drawing of a bombed house with a child and pet looking on at the destruction. The artwork itself sold for £205,000.00 with all proceeds donated to the Campaign Against Arms Trade and Reprieve.

The piece has been well-maintained and has travel and visible defects or damage as used in and on the street with tape marks where the tape has been pulled off.

This is a rare and once in a lifetime find, and an addition for collectors of unique artwork. Created by the elusive artist himself.

The publicity stunt was authenticated by Banksy when he posted a photo on his Instagram account.

This piece is an outstanding addition to any art collection. The stencil is an original, one-of-a-kind piece which may have been used more than once, which captures the essence of Banksy's signature style.
