Maritime watercolour of small vessels at sea and a city landscape in the background, there are three boats named on painting as "Mud Hopper" - " A Mersey Flat" - "Soap Flat"

Robert Taylor Pritchett (1828 – 1907) was an artist and illustrator, he painted royal ceremonies for Queen Victoria, and he illustrated Darwin's The Voyage of the Beagle.

Condition: Very good - thin card attached to thicker card - signed with monogram to lower right - "by Robert Taylor Pritchett private artist to Queen Victoria" written on the thicker base card - mount in good condition - see all images.

Dimensions:
Visible image - 6 3/4" wide x 4 3/4" high
Mount - 9" wide x 7" high x 1" deep all around.


An interesting small watercolour by a known 19th century artist which look great when framed.
