Royalty Duchess of Windsor (Wallis Simpson) two embossed cards handwritten in biro note from the Duchess dated May 7th 1957 to Sir & Lady Davies commenting on the enclosed 'small photograph' and their preference for avoiding photography at their certain or uncertain age also referring to this as being their last attempt in New York in October.
Sir Daniel Thomas Davies KCVO (November 1899 – 19 May 1966) was a Welsh physician.
From 1938 onwards he was physician to the royal family, firstly to King George VI, and later to both Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Windsor; he received a knighthood in the 1951 New Year Honours.
