Illustrations By Antony Groves- Raines.Publisher: Guinness, Dublin.The Alice Booklets Were Clever Parodies Of The Lewis Carroll Works One Of The Series Of Annual Publicity Booklets That Were Issued By The Dublin And London Brewing Company Of Guinness And Issued To People Such As Doctors & Chemists To Promote The Benefits Of The Company's Stout.The Booklets Were Produced To A Very High Standard Of Illustration, Printing And Publishing From 1933-1939, Then 1950-1966, After Which The Guinness Book Of Records Continued The Tradition.Every Publication From 1933 To 1966 Was A High-Quality Booklet With Rhymes, Text And Cartoons Created By Some Of The Top Illustrators And Writers Of The Time.The Booklet Was Designed By Guinness's Long-Standing Advertising Agency, S H Benson Ltd, Who Were Behind Much Of The Striking And Memorable Guinness Advertising Of The Day.
