The Green Point Boer P.O.W. Camp was set up on the Cape Town horseracing track in early 1900 and consisted of lines of tented accommodation.
Green Point notes were issued to permit Boer prisoners to buy supplies in the camp canteen.
Four different notes were issued in values of 1s, 2s and 5s (2 colours).
